“LGDR Asia, a new partnership between two New York galleries—Lévy Gorvy and Salon 94—and dealer Amalia Dayan, begins with the second edition of the Eternal Seasons series, which opened last March at Lévy Gorvy. This new edition presents western and Asian works from the 20th and 21st centuries that depict the natural world and the cosmos. The featured canonical figures include Françoise Gilot, the French painter of the post-World War II school who became Picasso’s muse and lover, and Yayoi Kusama, the Japanese contemporary artist who lived voluntarily in a psychiatric hospital for 41 years.”
